Mark writes a great story about methodology and good persistence. He worked hard to make his point, and did indeed finally make his sale. The wife of the buyer is really happy as well. New kitchen.
So I decided to go back to some basics for the end of 2011 into 2012 and hit up some apartments with a very special post card I might add - the response was terrific!
But I had one client that just didn't get the benefits - rented for 5 years same place $1250 a month, great credit, good saver, smart and an IT guy.
I kept explaining about Renting vs Buying adding up the benefits I was into the simple, the conveluted, showing him all my tax reasons, bigger houses for less money, ROI's, you name it. Normaly most people after 5 mins are screaming "Uncle I get it" - nope not this guy his wife got it - mind you I think it was the giant kitchen she had seen on a listing vs the one in the apartment, if truth be told.
So where am I going with this - in my frustration after 2, 45 min calls - I simple sent him an email with this video link in it - a day later he responded I GET IT - 2 weeks later his agent called and told me we were in contract and to watch for the paper work.
